Chairman's Statement
2009 has been a year of dramatic change and progression for African Minerals and the focus has shifted almost exclusively to our iron ore project at Tonkolili, Sierra Leone. It has been an exciting period, in which a number of critical milestones have been reached. We have conducted what we believe to be the biggest exploration programme in Africa in 2009, proving up the largest reported JORC compliant magnetite iron ore resource on the Continent.
